ABPA and Apex-Brasil take 14 export companies to Gulfood 2020

The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), will lead a group with agroindustries exporting animal protein during Gulfood 2020 , the largest food fair in the Middle East, scheduled for February 16-20, in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

In all, 14 agro-industries participate in the action. They are: Agroaraçá, Aurora Alimentos, Avenorte, Bello Alimentos, BRF, Coasul, Copacol, Granja Faria, GTFoods, Integra, Naturovos, Netto Alimentos, Pamplona Alimentos and Vibra.

The action will have a space of about 370 square meters, with rooms and total structure for holding business meetings for companies participating in the sectorial projects Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Egg and Brazilian Breeders – international poultry brands in Brazil.

In a wide gastronomic space, visitors will be able to enjoy the taste of Brazilian products in omelets and shawarma (chicken cuts served in flatbread).

During the action, ABPA will hold meetings with associations of importers and stakeholders in the Islamic market, to strengthen partnerships between importing nations and Brazil, the largest producer and exporter of halal chicken in the world.

Visitors will also receive informative materials on the productive sector, with data on the quality, health status and sustainable profile of Brazilian production, as well as contact with exporting companies.

“Dubai is an international hub and Gulfood also plays this role: it is a worldwide meeting point for food producers and exporters. There, we receive importers from all over the world, especially from the Arab countries and Asia. It is a fundamental opportunity for business planning and the expansion of Brazil’s export agenda, ”says Ricardo Santin, executive director of ABPA.
