The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), will take associated agro-industries for the first major on-site action in the European market since the beginning of the pandemic, during Anuga 2021 – one of the biggest food fairs in the world, which will take place between October 9th and 13th, in Cologne (Germany).
In this resumption edition, eight agribusinesses associated with ABPA confirmed their participation. They are: Belo Alimentos, Ecofrigo, Copacol, Lar, Vibra, Pif Paf, Somave and Jaguá.
To this end, a large area of over 270 square meters in the Koelnmesse exhibition center (which hosts the Anuga fair) was specially prepared with full infrastructure to receive clients and potential importers of animal protein from Brazil.
Reinforcing the strategy of actions of the international brands of poultry and pork sectors in Brazil – Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Egg, Brazilian Breeders, Brazilian Duck and Brazilian Pork – promotional materials will be distributed with information about the production chain in Brazil, such as printed and digital folders ( distributed by QRCode).
The poultry and pig farming area at the biggest European food fair this year will also feature a gastronomic area led by chef Marcelo Bortolon, where traditional dishes will be served, such as chicken with polenta, as well as omelets and other meat-based dishes. birds and eggs.
Led by the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin, the association’s team – with the participation of the directors of Markets, Luis Rua, of Institutional Relations, Marcelo Osório, in addition to representatives of the marketing areas, Nayara Dalmolin (who also coordinates the action), communication, Amanda Gomes, and technician, Tabatha Lacerda – will act in a series of activities during the event’s program, including rounds with European stakeholders, integration with authorities and others.
