After SIAVS, exporters project US$ 301 million business

Agroindustries producing and exporting chicken, pork, genetics and Brazilian eggs project US $ 301 million in national and international business, based on business meetings held during the International Poultry and Swine Exhibition (SIAVS 2019), the largest event of the sectors in Brazil, held between August 27 and 29, at Anhembi Parque, in São Paulo (SP).

Held by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), SIAVS 2019 was attended by more than 37 agro-industries and genetic houses that export from the poultry and swine sectors. Called the Buyer Project, the action was carried out in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

According to surveys carried out by ABPA with companies, in the three days of the event alone, there were more than US $ 50 million in prospected and closed deals.

There were around 1,500 consolidated commercial meetings, with buyers from 31 countries.

Considered one of the most expressive business actions for poultry and swine farming in Brazil in 2019, the participation of agro-industries in SIAVS had a space of 450 square meters in the Anhembi Pavilion for 32 agro-industries, in addition to exclusive stands from five other companies in the middle to the event.

“The excellent flow of consolidated business attests to the success of the action. The big difference, this time, is that the commercial meetings were held at the largest poultry and pork production fair in Brazil, which optimized resources and expanded our range of business generation opportunities ”, analyzes Francisco Turra, president of ABPA.
