Get to know ABPA’s industry projects
The three sectoral projects Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Egg and Brazilian Pork are supported by ABPA in partnership with Apex-Brasil in order to promote the exports of chicken, pork and eggs produced in Brazil. Through their participation in trade fairs, the staging of workshops and other trade promotion initiatives, the projects highlight the features of these industries – their quality, sanitary status and sustainable production – and enhance the international brands for such products, promoting new business for Brazilian exporters.
Objectives
The objective of this Partnership/Project is to significantly increase the exported volumes and revenues of the companies that are members of ABPA and participate in the project, and also the number of markets to which Brazil currently exports poultry, pork and eggs. We make a concerted effort in trade shows, workshops, image projects and purchaser projects, broadcasting institutional campaigns on Brazilian proteins, and distributing promotional material to make sure the image of Brazilian products is consolidated as top-quality affordable products, and the customization capacity offered exclusively by Brazil.
Target audience
The Project is conducted in order to boost the image of Brazilian products: poultry, pork and eggs in the main markets to which we already export, and to open up new markets. The benefits are achieved by the exporters who participate in the project: 21 poultry producers, 17 pork producers and 4 egg producers – as well as the entire exporting industry for the three proteins, which benefits indirectly.
Strategic focus
- To promote and spread the concepts of “Brazilian Chicken”, “Brazilian Egg” and “Brazilian Pork”, showing the world the high quality of Brazilian protein.
- To maintain markets already open to us
- To expand untapped markets
- To promote the opening of new markets
