In a strategic period to strengthen business with the Asian market, the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), will represent Brazilian companies during Sial China 2021 , one of the biggest events in the animal protein sector in the Asian market, which will take place between May 18th and 20th, in Shanghai.

With an exclusive space at the event, ABPA will participate with an institutional stand and available areas, with meeting rooms and lounge, to serve visitors, authorities and all other stakeholders. During the fair, institutional videos will be shown to visitors with information on quality, health status and protective measures for workers during the pandemic. The action will also include videos from the international campaign to alert importers and potential customers against cases of fraud and false sales, which impact Brazilian poultry and pork exports.

“The strengthening of the image and relations between Brazilian exporters and the Chinese market is the main objective of ABPA during Sial China. With this action, we intend, in addition to showing the quality and safety of Brazilian products, to strengthen our partnership with the Chinese, who today lead the first place in imports of pork and chicken from Brazil ”, comments Ricardo Santin, president of ABPA.

Main export destination, China was responsible for 53% of Brazilian pork exports in the first four months of the year. For chicken meat, the Asian country imported 14.6% of the total shipped by Brazil during the period.
